Salary : $140,000$170,000 + Bonus

Schedule : Hybrid (3 days onsite / week)

Overview :

Were seeking a Sr. Manager to lead Bioinformatics Operations in a clinical genomics lab environment. This role focuses on managing production-grade bioinformatics pipelines , ensuring operational excellence, and supporting both on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of 57 bioinformatics professionals.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring sample throughput and turnaround time (TAT) targets are met.
• Manage and troubleshoot bioinformatics pipelines (Nextflow, Snakemake).
• Support systems in both on-prem and AWS cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, ISO, FDA standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with lab scientists, IT, and engineering teams.
• Drive CI / CD adoption and maintain data integrity and secure archival.
