Senior Landscape Technician

The Senior Landscape Technician has the responsibility to assist the Landscape Manager in scheduling work and material delivery to ensure an efficient and comprehensive landscape maintenance program. An added duty of this role will be to cover for the landscape technicians in the case of scheduled or unscheduled absences. The incumbent will provide coordination and direction to a team of landscape technicians and external vendors and will assist in providing grounds keeping, building maintenance, along with maintaining equipment and tools.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Leading landscaping team in daily tasks.
• Assisting as needed for scheduled / unscheduled absences.
• Coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting Landscape Manager with coordination of deliveries.
• Training Landscape Technicians in equipment use, maintenance and daily tasks.
• Assisting Landscape Manager in leading day-to-day grounds keeping operations of multiple retail banking and main office facilities.
• Assessing work completed by colleagues and external vendors against safety and performance standards and working with the Landscape Manager and other stakeholders to handle necessary corrective actions.
• Performing grounds keeping and building maintenance duties as required.
• Assisting in mowing lawns either by hand or using a riding lawnmower when needed to expedite work orders or cover for colleagues on PTO.
• Recommending specific plants, trees, grass, or other landscape features dependent on local site conditions and established Citizens standards.
• Landscaping by planting, trimming, and maintaining flower beds, grass, shrubs, bushes, and small trees.
• Shoveling snow from walkways and applying anti-skid as needed; cleaning parking lots, sidewalks, and all exterior areas while performing routine grounds keeping.
• Performing spring and fall cleanups to remove excess debris, leaves, and trim landscaping.
• Installing new hardscaping, river rock, fencing, signage, and other furnishings as required.
• Pressure washing building exterior and refreshing parking lot painting as needed.
• Cleaning gutters and roof drains of debris.
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
• Ensuring all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized in a safe manner consistent with established standards.
• Closing out work orders upon completion via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Responding to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritizing work order response.
• Communicating in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers.

Pay Transparency : The salary range for this position is $22.01 - $32.50 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
