Shift : 1 st & 3 rd , M-F

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with advanced multi-axis machining expertise to support the development of high-precision components for the aerospace and defense sector. This role requires mastery of CAD / CAM programming (with emphasis on Mastercam), an ability to translate complex models into efficient machining processes, and a strong foundation in aerospace manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for complex 3-, 4-, and true 5-axis milling operations using Mastercam and other CAD / CAM platforms (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Develop machining strategies for tight-tolerance aerospace parts, ensuring conformance with engineering specs and customer requirements.
• Generate toolpaths, setup sheets, and process documentation for multi-axis mills and supporting equipment.
• Interpret 3D CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T to identify machining features and requirements.
• Work alongside engineers, machinists, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturability.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters to maximize efficiency while protecting part integrity.
• Conduct prove-outs, test runs, and program adjustments to validate accuracy before full production release.
• Collaborate with inspection teams to verify that parts meet AS9100 / aerospace standards through in-process and final measurement.
• Continuously improve programming methods to reduce cycle times, tool wear, and overall manufacturing costs.
• Maintain clear documentation of programs, revisions, and process improvements.
