CCS Certified Coder

A company is looking for an IP Facility Coder III - CCS.

Key Responsibilities

Code inpatient and outpatient hospital records, including ED, Home Health, Hospice, and professional fee services

Review patients' medical records to assign appropriate codes for financial reimbursement and compliance with regulations

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and resolve pre-bill edits and denials for assigned accounts

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Must possess one of the following coding certifications : CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT / RHIA, with a commitment to achieve one of these within one year of hire

Three to five years of coding experience required
