Overview Video Producer (Level 1 Journalist) – The Insurer (Reuters multimedia newsroom, New York) involvement in covering the global financial services sector for The Insurer subscribers and Reuters’ audience of financial professionals.

Responsibilities Collaborate closely with journalists at The Insurer and across Reuters to produce high-quality video that brings complex financial topics to life.

Conduct TV-style interviews with industry leaders and experts.

About You Experience covering financial services, particularly insurance, reinsurance, or capital markets.

Strong video production and editing skills.

A sharp editorial eye and the ability to translate complex topics into compelling visual stories.

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced newsroom.

A passion for financial journalism and a curiosity about the global risk landscape.

Location This position is based in New York City, working from the Reuters newsroom.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office locations include New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, McLean, and Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $72,000 - $130,000.
