We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Post Closing Specialist for a hybrid role . This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of loan documentation after closing. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all investor and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Review closed loan files to ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with investor and regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve post-closing deficiencies by communicating with internal departments, title companies, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
Ship complete loan packages to investors within required deadlines and follow up to ensure timely purchase.
Track, monitor, and clear post-closing conditions to ensure investor satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records and reporting for post-closing audits and investor reviews.
Assist with compliance audits and quality control reviews as needed.
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in post-closing, mortgage operations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, closing procedures, and investor guidelines.
Proficiency with loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Pay Details : $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
