Customer Service Representative
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Customer Service Representative opportunity at NDX Group Practice Solutions (GPS) in Sarasota, FL.
The regular hours for this position are from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position :
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Promptly relay issues and concerns to appropriate area.
- Be courteous and treat external as well as internal customers with respect.
- Organize work area for highest function and efficiency.
- Pull case histories from files.
- Make outgoing calls to Dr.'s.
- Responsible for scheduling appointments for management, custom shades, etc.
- Help schedule incoming work and bill outgoing work when needed.
- Reschedule resource center work and Dr. work, and communicate back to the appropriate office.
- File paperwork.
- Manage all communications between sister labs, due date issues, technical issues, etc.
- Actively participate and share ideas for improvement that will positively shape the relationship the laboratory has with customers.
- Ensure the responsible use, safety and care of equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance requirements are met and that work area is kept clean.
- Participate in Company sponsored training and meetings as required.
- Support and incorporate NDX's Mission, Vision and Core Values into daily endeavors.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required :
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to work in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.Verbally communicate via telephone, maintaining a positive demeanor.Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, maintaining a positive attitude.Demonstrated initiative.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent listening skills.Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong data entry skills.Minimum Education and Experience Required :
Required : High school diploma or GED equivalent.Entry-level role.Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used :
All office equipment.Physical Requirements :
