Front Desk Representative / Medical Receptionist
As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. Our Customer Care Team is the face of CNS Healthcare. We are looking for someone who is willing to support co-workers, teammates, and the people we serve as needed throughout the course of the day. The Front Desk Representative plays a key role in representing the agency, often serving as a first impression to individuals served and visitors to any office sites. They are trusted to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment and provide the best customer service possible.
We are seeking candidates who have availability to rotate at our Pontiac office, and the availability to work until 7 : 00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The starting pay for this position is $14.88 - $17.50 hourly rate, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Greet and check-in persons served, including verifying, and updating necessary information in the electronic health record and collecting copays as neededCheck-out individuals served including scheduling appointmentsCollect and document insurance informationAssist with coordinating transportation and other services for persons servedMaintain the reception area and lobby in a neat, orderly, and welcoming mannerReview and update information in electronic health record system as neededReference and maintain up-to-date relevant agency resources including, but not limited to, calendars, office schedules, program directories, and team rostersProvide coverage and support of other Customer Care Team functions and locations as neededMaintain compliance with quality care initiatives including Meaningful Use (MU), Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirementsEnsure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served, guests, and staffAssume responsibility for professional growth by current reading and attendance at educational programsMaintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures, corporate compliance program, code of ethics, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory programsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications : Required
