Overview
As the IT Manager, you lead the IT Department to ensure reliable, compliant, and business-aligned technology services. You drive SOX and non-SOX compliance, develop and motivate a high-performing team through structured plans and knowledge sharing, and support both local and regional IT projects to deliver measurable business results. As an IT Manager, you take full ownership of IT operations, leading people, resources, and processes to deliver high-performance technology services across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT Service Delivery : Manage capacity planning, KPI setup, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional IT service performance.
- Ensure Compliance & Standards : Execute IT operational standards and procedures in alignment with SLA, Cybersecurity, SOX, and Non-SOX requirements for systems and devices.
- Drive Project Execution : Oversee local IT project development, communicate progress to stakeholders, and collaborate with regional manufacturing teams to share resources and best practices. Represent your country in global and regional IT initiatives.
- Manage Budgets : Plan, control, and optimize the IT Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and CAPEX budget to meet business objectives efficiently.
- Build a High-Performance Team : Develop talent and implement succession planning to cultivate top performers and support the IT Center of Excellence.
What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related fields10+ years of experience across IT support and operations, including SAP, infrastructure, systems, and application developmentStrong ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutionsSolid understanding of SAP (Basis, Processes, Configurations, Master Data)Familiarity with ITIL and project management methodologiesKnowledge of SOX compliance and IT security frameworksTechnical expertise in LAN / WAN architecture, operating systems, applications, and backup technologiesExperience in vendor negotiation and contract managementGoodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
