Assistant Estimator Intern - Summer 2026

Overview

Looking to get your start in the world of estimating? As an Assistant Estimator Intern , you'll help our team develop precise project bids and gain hands-on experience with fire alarm systems. You'll collaborate with experienced Estimators, learn the full bidding process, and help identify project opportunities that drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and learn more about the industry!

In our summer internship program, you'll work alongside professionals in the industry while also engaging in events just for interns, including a jobsite ride-along, mentorship opportunities, Insights Discovery workshop, and more! Our internship program lasts 12-weeks, with flexible start and end dates to meet the needs of your school and extracurricular schedule.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Assistant Estimator Intern include but are not limited to the following :

• Work under the guidance and mentorship of the Estimating team, to learn and understand the bidding process.
• Assist in performing take-offs, entering into the ProEst estimating system to support the estimating team.
• Help prepare accurate plan & spec and design-build estimates for a range of projects.

Pay Rate : $23.00 per hour
