Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations management to ensure alignment.
• Responsible for the overall monitoring, status reporting and coordination of actions for the AFCENT enterprise network.
• Provide oversight and guidance to a team of technical professionals responsible for supporting the AFCENT enterprise network.
• Responsible for the management of network performance and end-to-end service quality for the Network infrastructure.
• Reviews and analyze overall end-to-end network performance to maintain an acceptable level of network quality of service.
• Participates in the assessment and selection of the network performance and management tools / systems for existing and new network technologies and services.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on to respond to unexpected issues or planned / unplanned disruptions.
• Identify trends that may lead to service or network disruption and recommend remediation actions.
• Conduct operational impact assessments of outages and potential outages.
• Coordinate and manage authorized service interruptions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Report status of planned and unplanned outages and disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with multi-functional teams for implementation.
• Perform any additional duties as required by local policy and guidance.
• Provide General IT Management support
• Provide General Networking support.
• Provide WAN Enterprise support
• Provide meetings / briefings support
• Provide functional training support as required.
• Provide CONUS / OCONUS deployment / TDY travel support IAW paragraph 3.3.12, as required.
