The Registration Coordinator gathers client requirements, builds basic website functionality and translates programming customizations to developers in order to deliver a quality online registration site within the constraints of project cost, time and scope. The Registration Coordinator serves as part of the overall project team.
Primary Responsibilities
40% Registration Management : Serves as a point of contact for client registration service needs. Contributes a portfolio of moderately complex accounts with managerial or Sr RS oversight and supervision. Gains an understanding of current technology in order to design solutions and integrate with future products. Tests websites and internal applications for functionality and quality control. Proofs text language on confirmations, tickets and other registrant communications.
20% Collaborates with other departments, assists in gathering website design specifications from clients and delivers to IT for build. Provides customer service support with all necessary event details including data entry instructions and financial processing information. Assists with schedule of production jobs for ticket and credential production, collation and mailings. Supports onsite services and engages at appropriate time in preparation of final onsite portion of project. Participates in project team meetings and provides input to Project Management, Account Management, Housing Services and Onsite Services as applicable.
20% Incorporates project management principles and manages workload within project budget hours. Provides weekly status reports and updates system with accurate and timely deliverables. Contributes to updates and posts show requirements and documentation to support best practices.
20% Continuous learning of system complexities, requirements and processes through shadowing and exploration of training resources available on SharePoint and Workday. Educational focus to also include necessary job skills like refinement of client communication, interpersonal relationships and time management skills.
Qualifications
1. College degree (Business or Hospitality degree a plus) or equivalent work experience required.
2. Strong analytical skills along with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve required.
3. Must be proficient in MS Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
4. Strong customer service skills with the ability to multi-task required.
5. Professional client communication and presentation skills required.
6. Basic understanding of HTML a plus.
7. Optional travel to onsite events may be 10-15%.
