We are looking for an Automation Systems Technician
Schedule : 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
Overview
As an Automation Systems Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting advanced automated production lines in a medical device manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for keeping equipment running efficiently, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work meets strict quality and regulatory standards. This position reports to the Automation Technical Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and record detailed documentation.
- Partner with engineers on equipment testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot automation systems to minimize downtime and maintain output goals.
- Support system improvements to increase reliability and reduce costs.
- Maintain proper records for FDA compliance and customer requirements.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an automated manufacturing setting.Hands-on background with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, Cognex vision systems, and Fanuc robots (or equivalent).Strong ability to write and maintain technical documents such as work instructions and protocols.Effective project / time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Team-focused, detail-oriented, and quality-driven mindset.Growth Path
0–3 Months : Learn company quality systems, train on automated processes, begin executing maintenance orders, and build team relationships.3–6 Months : Develop troubleshooting and programming abilities, maintain equipment in a validated state, and gain full familiarity with maintenance protocols.6–12 Months : Independently support additional shifts, enhance and troubleshoot programmable technologies, assist in cost-saving projects, and ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820 / GMP regulations.
