Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support end-to-end deployment automation, performance optimization, and system reliability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core Java , Kubernetes , and REST APIs , with deep expertise in troubleshooting Java-based applications and optimizing JVM performance.

DevOps : 8+ years of experience

Kubernetes : 5+ years

Core Java : 8+ years

JVM : 5+ years

Java Troubleshooting : 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

Automate application and infrastructure deployments across multiple environments (Development, Staging, Production) using Kubernetes .

Leverage Core Java, Spring Boot , and REST API development skills to build and optimize scalable systems.

Perform Java troubleshooting by analyzing logs, stack traces, and thread dumps to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Debug memory leaks, GC issues , and other JVM-related performance challenges.

Tune JVM parameters and optimize system configurations for enhanced scalability and reliability.

Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and CI / CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Implement and maintain monitoring systems using Splunk , Grafana , and AppDynamics to ensure application health and uptime.

Set up alerting and incident management systems to proactively address potential system issues.

Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to streamline DevOps workflows and deployments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and stability .

Ensure all DevOps practices adhere to security and compliance standards , including securing pipelines and environments.

Continuously assess existing processes to identify areas for automation and improvement .

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment procedures and operational workflows.

Provide knowledge sharing and training to cross-functional teams to promote DevOps best practices.

Maintain and enhance the Siebel CRM environment , reviewing workflows and optimizing database performance.

Monitor and maintain database health and ensure efficient application-to-database replication .

Participate in code and application review sessions to understand business and functional flows.

Nice to Have

Experience with Load / Performance Testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner )

Exposure to Ansible or similar configuration management tools
