Consulting Systems Engineer (Detroit, MI)

Qualifications

• Candidates must live in or near Detroit, MI metro.
• 5+ years of Enterprise IT Engineering and 2+ years of Pre-Sales experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments, ideally at larger Enterprise companies.
• Strong experience with multiple of the following disciplines : Compute, Storage, Data Protection, Route / Switch, Unified Communications, Automation, Wireless, Security, Cloud, and AI.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills are required.
• Bachelor\'s Degree OR equivalent experience required.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $210,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be partnering with Client Managers to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for our Fortune 500 clients across all verticals. No two days will be the same as our broad offerings include Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy among others. What will you be doing?

The Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our customers within the local Detroit, MI market. Day to day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work. The CSE will team with local Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEMs, and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25%.
