DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Meal Transporter, you will be responsible for maintaining the immobile and sick elderly in their homes as long as possible by delivering hot, nutritious meals daily, ensuring their well-being via face-to-face interactions. Work involves maintaining detailed service rosters, delivering meals using the shortest route, and inspecting the quality and quantity of food. You will also be required to notify the office if a client requests to discontinue services, if they have changes in their health or condition, and if there are any unusual circumstances in their living conditions. Additional responsibilities include :

• Ordering meals for the following day
• Attending meetings
• Handling up to 40 meals per day
• Moving quickly and efficiently
• Loading 20 to 30 pounds of insulated containers into your vehicle at the beginning of your shift
• Climbing up and down stairs
