The ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice inconsistencies / faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility. High School diploma or GED required. Welding experience required. Must be able to pass PIC Trailer weld test. Trailer assembly and / or heavy equipment manufacturing experience preferred. Vocational or post-secondary education and welding certification(s) desired.

As a Welder, you will work under the direction of a supervisor to fabricate, assemble, and repair heavy steel products. This role requires following blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure quality and accuracy. Welds range from simple tacks to more complex work, depending on the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Weld and assemble steel components according to blueprints, layouts, or instructions.
Operate shop equipment such as grinders, torches, hoists, and hand tools.
Read and interpret job orders, prints, and welding symbols.
Maintain quality, accuracy, and production standards.
Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean work area.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
Qualifications :
Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading and layout capabilities.
Ability to manage work independently with minimal direction.
