Director of Nursing (DON)

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department and ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care.

Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, and scheduling.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Develop and implement nursing policies, care plans, and quality improvement programs.

Participate in surveys, audits, and performance reviews.

Collaborate with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team to promote resident well-being.

Provide staff training, evaluations, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.

CPR certification required.
