- Key Responsibilities Design user experiences and interfaces that align with business objectives, end-user requirements, and success metrics.
- Conduct product validation and quality control, including user acceptance testing and ensuring designs support scalability and interoperability.
- Develop role-based educational materials, user guides, process flow diagrams, and knowledge management resources to assist end-users in becoming proficient with applications.
- Provide expertise in data visualization and business intelligence best practices to inform data architecture and mapping strategies.
- Support end-user troubleshooting, Tier 3 help desk support, and content creation / maintenance for applications.
- Participate in agile Kanban processes, backlog grooming, and user story estimation to incorporate UX / UI considerations.
- Ensure designs comply with Section 508 accessibility standards (e.g., 1194.21 Software Applications, 1194.22 Web-Based Information, 1194.31 Functional Performance Criteria).
- Collaborate on application modernization, such as migrating workflows to Power Platform, integrating AI, or extending features like Box functionality.
- Document designs and processes in JIRA, Confluence, or other tools, and promote reuse of design elements across the SharePoint ecosystem.
- Work with teams to minimize impacts from changes and support release management, including regression testing and out-of-cycle releases.
- Qualifications Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of design experience without a degree.
- Expertise in user experience design, user interface design, product validation, and quality control.
- Experience in agile environments, with a focus on collaborative team settings and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong skills in creating accessible, scalable designs for web and mobile platforms (e.g., compatible with Chrome, Safari on iOS / iPadOS).
- Ability to handle sensitive data (CUI / PII) and ensure compliance with FRA, PRA, and data security protocols.
- Top Secret (TS) Eligible Preferred Skills Background in SharePoint or Microsoft ecosystems, including workflows and data integration.
- Familiarity with government IT environments, ITIL best practices, and tools like Nintex or Power Platform.
