Job Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)

Load raw materials and monitor machine operations

Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings

Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality

Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures

Record production and quality data as required

Requirements

Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

Basic math and mechanical skills

Attention to detail and quality

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
