Position Summary :
Temple University's Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) Program is a federally funded TRIO initiative that supports Philadelphia high school students (grades 9-12) in preparing for and succeeding in college. The program offers after-school, Saturday, and summer enrichment focused on academic coursework, standardized test preparation, career exposure, social-emotional learning, tutoring, mentorship, and college readiness.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of UBMS, the Career Development & College Readiness Coordinator provides academic and career advising, program coordination, and logistical support for the after-school, Saturday, and six-week summer program components. This position focuses on delivering college readiness services to 9th- and 10th-grade students and leading STEM career exploration activities for all UBMS participants.
