Key Responsibilities

Drive work across data engineering, search, experimentation, and data SRE, ensuring alignment with user needs and priorities

Manage and develop teams, fostering a collaborative culture and scaling hiring for a diverse organization

Provide technical strategy and oversight, setting architectural direction based on industry best practices

Required Qualifications

8+ years of engineering leadership experience with 3+ years managing managers in data-heavy backend teams

Proven track record of shipping production data systems at massive scale

Hands-on experience with relevant open source technology stacks (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark)

Ability to hire, coach, and lead globally distributed teams
