Job Summary :

A Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in factories, power plants, and construction sites. The role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety standards to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair procedures.
• Use precision tools (e.g., micrometers, laser alignment tools) to ensure proper alignment and calibration.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and other rigging equipment to move heavy machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Weld, fabricate, and modify parts when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other skilled trades to complete projects.
