Opportunity Being a PCT can be your steppingstone to other careers at Baylor Scott and White such as Monitor Tech or ED Tech and is a great experience for those looking to become Registered Nurses. Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) Answer call lights and complete patient rounds Assist with completing / maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges. Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up. Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures. Compassion This is both a physically and emotionally demanding job. Compassion for patients is one of the biggest factors in becoming successful. Communication Clear communication with patients and staff, both verbally and in writing. Positive attitude You will see people in some of their worst moments.
