You will get a chance to care for different patients with various illness and treatment plans where you will get to use different skills. Opportunity – Being a PCT can be your steppingstone to other careers at Baylor Scott and White such as Monitor Tech or ED Tech and is a great experience for those looking to become Registered Nurses. Collect and record patient Data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) Answer call lights and complete patient rounds Assist with completing / maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges. Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up. Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures. Communication – Clear communication with patients and staff, both verbally and in writing. Positive attitude – You will see people in some of their worst moments.
