Position Overview : Electrical Engineer (Power / Lighting / Low Voltage Systems)
This role involves designing electrical systems and managing projects from concept through construction. You'll serve as a liaison between the design team and clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication and execution. You'll also mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project timelines and coordinate electrical design activities with clients and internal teams.Prepare proposals and engineering agreements aligned with project scope.Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems.Perform load calculations and equipment selection based on project requirements.Produce accurate and complete construction documents for permitting and installation.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and QA / QC processes.Conduct site surveys, manage punch lists, and support construction phases.Mentor junior engineers and oversee onboarding.Collaborate on process improvements and cost efficiencies.Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in electrical systems designStrong project management and communication skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitSolid understanding of building codes and construction processesPreferred :
