job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide development support, conceptual design, and owner's engineer services for electric power generation projects Perform technical evaluations of projects and facilities, including engineering design reviews and technical due diligence Support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development Engage in design of thermal power projects and contribute to project development support Travel within the United States and internationally as required for project needs Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program 5+ years of relevant experience in power plant and heavy industrial control systems Proficient understanding of instrumentation and controls engineering applications Experience with DCS, TCS, and / or PLC programming and reading / creating logic diagrams Excellent technical communication and writing skills Experience in technical due diligence and owner's engineering design reviews of thermal power projects General understanding of power station operations and performance reviews Familiarity with process design at electric power generation facilities Economic, cost analysis, and contract development experience PE license or ability to earn PE license
