What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Provide development support, conceptual design, and owner's engineer services for electric power generation projectsPerform technical evaluations of projects and facilities, including engineering design reviews and technical due diligenceSupport project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract developmentEngage in design of thermal power projects and contribute to project development supportTravel within the United States and internationally as required for project needsWhat is Required (Qualifications) :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program5+ years of relevant experience in power plant and heavy industrial control systemsProficient understanding of instrumentation and controls engineering applicationsExperience with DCS, TCS, and / or PLC programming and reading / creating logic diagramsExcellent technical communication and writing skillsHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Experience in technical due diligence and owner's engineering design reviews of thermal power projectsGeneral understanding of power station operations and performance reviewsFamiliarity with process design at electric power generation facilitiesEconomic, cost analysis, and contract development experiencePE license or ability to earn PE licenseWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
