SCHEDULE :

This is a full-time 2nd shift position, working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM, with frequent overtime opportunities based on production needs.

DAY-TO-DAY :

As our Food Quality Control Technician, you are the last line of defense between our products and the customers who trust us. Your day starts with pre-operational inspections to ensure the production lines are ready. You'll be responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting tests on seasonings, batters, breading, and marinades, and randomly pulling products off the line to check weight, length, and thickness against customer specifications. Every hour, you'll perform metal detection checks, box weight tracking, and organoleptic testing (cooking and tasting products) to guarantee that our food meets safety and quality standards. You'll manage critical documentation, work closely with U.S.D.A. and S.S.O.P. requirements, and train backup QC Technicians to ensure seamless operations. Your role also includes enforcing GMP practices across the plant and participating in weekly QA meetings to stay ahead of industry developments. QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required for this Food Quality Control Technician role.
