Overview
The U.S. based position offers a compensation range of $65,000 - $69,000 per year, with uncapped commission ranging from $0 - $60,000 per year and potentially $0 - $120,000 by year 2-3, based on performance. Salary ranges apply to candidates located within the United States. The Solution Sales Development Program is designed for recent graduates with a degree in business, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, communications, or a similar background. This program combines elements of sales, consulting, market development, communication, and customer engagement to develop well-equipped sales executives.
Public Sector Sales team within our Sustainability Business works with decision makers in public schools, universities, hospitals, and municipalities to implement sustainable energy and infrastructure projects. We seek motivated graduates with an entrepreneurial mindset who can support clients through a long sales cycle to meet their needs.
What you get to do in this position?
Training and placement
A 10-week immersive training at our Dallas, Texas hub and in the field, including shadowing, sales presentations, coaching, mentorship, and field experience. After training, you will be placed in one of two roles.
Roles
Generate new business opportunities, target executive-level prospects, initiate contact in person, secure meetings for yourself and Account Executives, qualify and nurture leads, present to C-level stakeholders, and network within relevant vertical markets.
Generate new business and guide clients through the full sales cycle, target and initiate in-person contact with executives, present to C-level stakeholders, network to expand opportunities, lead internal teams and strategic plans, shepherd prospects through procurement and construction of energy infrastructure projects, and close multi-million-dollar deals.
Locations are assigned after training based on current location, candidate preference, and business need. Post-training locations may include : West Region (Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Sacramento, CA); South Region (Houston or Dallas, TX); Southeast Region (Mississippi); East Region (West Virginia); Midwest Region (Arkansas, Nebraska, or Michigan).
