Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location : Fayetteville, NC

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06 : 00 – 18 : 00)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in ICU, Med / Surg, and other acute care units.
  • Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance techniques.
  • Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, BiPAP / CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Assist with airway management procedures such as intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform CPR and resuscitation support as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC.
  • Float within scope to other units or sister campuses as needed to support hospital staffing needs.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)
  • Active North Carolina state license or compact equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience (required)
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric ICU patients (required)
  • EPIC charting experience (preferred)
  • Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
