Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06 : 00 – 18 : 00)
Job Responsibilities :
Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in ICU, Med / Surg, and other acute care units.Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance techniques.Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, BiPAP / CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation.Assist with airway management procedures such as intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care.Respond to emergency situations and perform CPR and resuscitation support as needed.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC.Float within scope to other units or sister campuses as needed to support hospital staffing needs.Required Skills & Experience :
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)Active North Carolina state license or compact equivalent (required)Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience (required)Experience with both adult and pediatric ICU patients (required)EPIC charting experience (preferred)Strong critical care and ventilator management skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbout HonorVet Technologies
