Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location : Fayetteville, NC
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 – 06 : 00)
Job Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in ICU, step-down, and acute care settings.Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques according to physician orders.Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, CPAP / BiPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) to guide patient care decisions.Assist with airway management procedures, including intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care.Respond to emergency codes and provide respiratory support as needed.Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal respiratory outcomes.Accurately document assessments, treatments, and outcomes using Epic charting system.Float to other units or sister campuses as needed within scope of practice.Required Skills & Experience :
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)Active North Carolina state or compact Respiratory Care license (required)Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience (required)Experience caring for both adult and pediatric ICU patients (required)EPIC charting experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory care protocolsAbout HonorVet Technologies
