Overview
Head Start is a comprehensive preschool program for low-income children ages birth through five years old. It provides children with a developmentally appropriate early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising infants and toddlers within the classroom and other assigned areas; develop lesson plans and deliver group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
- Collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and / or classroom issues.
- Respond to inquiries from students\' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Qualifications
Education Required : Targeted, job related education with study in job related area; Associate Degree in ECE preferred.Certification Required : Will be expected to obtain and maintain an Infant / Toddler CDA Certificate and CPR Certificate.Experience Required : Job related experience is desired.This is a 12 Month Position
