Overview

Head Start is a comprehensive preschool program for low-income children ages birth through five years old. It provides children with a developmentally appropriate early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising infants and toddlers within the classroom and other assigned areas; develop lesson plans and deliver group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and / or classroom issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from students\' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.

Qualifications

  • Education Required : Targeted, job related education with study in job related area; Associate Degree in ECE preferred.
  • Certification Required : Will be expected to obtain and maintain an Infant / Toddler CDA Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Experience Required : Job related experience is desired.

    • This is a 12 Month Position

    Monday to Friday

    Hours : 8 : 00am-3 : 00pm
