Hours of Operation : Monday - Friday from 6am to 9 : 30pm, this role participates rotating weekends & holidays

Job Summary

We are seeking a  Patient Services Manager to lead our 25-member Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in St. Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities :

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population. We provide a blended service of bedside and room service.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations. Ensures alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences, when patient inquires or needs additional selections.
• Interacts with nursing and evaluates on a daily basis patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery and tray retrieval process.
• Is responsive to patients' needs at all times. Resolves patient concerns or complaints immediately and / or reports concerns to supervisor as appropriate.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Completes required documentation, reports and logs.
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops 20-25 patient service team members (dining and dishwashing)
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals. Participates in / leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement programs
