Director of Nursing

Generations at Rock Island, a newly acquired 70-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a strong and motivated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse leader who thrives in building systems, mentoring teams, and shaping a culture of high-quality resident care in a transitioning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and direction for all nursing services

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readiness

Oversee staffing, scheduling, and development of nursing team members

Collaborate with administration to implement new policies and systems

Develop quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives

Foster a resident-focused, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

RN license in the State of Illinois (required)

Previous DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing preferred

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage change, establish structure, and build a successful team

Knowledge of state / federal nursing home regulations and survey process
