We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Suite Engineering Tech Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the comprehensive Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail / Exchange, Mail Routing, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This position demands an in-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and the capability to lead a team of engineers in delivering top-quality solutions
Key Accountabilities / Deliverables :
- Lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the full Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail / Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Mail Routing, and DLP.
- Develop best practices for Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services.
- Manage mail routing and DLP policies to ensure data security and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and evaluate their impact on the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
- Oversee project development and ensure timely delivery.
- Define and implement governance models for Microsoft 365 environments.
- Align platform capabilities with business strategy and long-term vision.
- Evaluate platform metrics and contribute to strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Drive digital transformation initiatives.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding :
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Active Directory.Core M365 Services including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive.Scripting & Automation involving PowerShell for administrative tasks and automation.Azure integration and services.Security and compliance policies (e.g., DLP, MFA, Conditional Access).M365 architecture and governance.Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines.Preferably Microsoft 365 Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in leading engineering teams. The candidate should have over 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role within the Microsoft 365 suite.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Exchange, and DLP.Strong grasp of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience with M365 migrations and deployments.Agile development experience.Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale M365 solutions.Preferred certifications : Microsoft Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert, MS-100, MS-101.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position.
