Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Verification Specialist to serve as a critical bridge between our sales and operations teams. This role ensures accuracy and precision in size verification and material ordering for residential exterior home remodeling projects, with emphasis on windows and doors, and including siding, and trim materials. The ideal candidate takes previous hands-on construction experience and combines it with strong organizational skills to prevent costly errors and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Go on-site to verify measurements, specifications, type, style, colors, and quantities for all materials (windows, doors, siding, trim) prior to ordering
- Ensure correct materials arrive at job sites according to project specifications
- Place orders for custom-manufactured materials for high-profile customers and unique project requirements
- Review and validate material lists for accuracy and completeness
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience in order management, procurement, or a similar role requiring high attention to detail, preferably within the construction or home improvement industryPrevious window and door installation experience is requiredDemonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or managing a small teamAbility to work independently and take initiative while also being a collaborative team playerKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical Assessment & Problem-Solving
Evaluate framing and construction requirements for remodel projects involving window and door modificationsIdentify necessary structural components and framing adjustments for scope changesApply knowledge of building codes, particularly glass type requirements for various applicationsProvide consultative insights and technical advisement to the sales teamRelationship Management
Maintain professional relationships with vendors and manufacturersCollaborate effectively between sales and operations departmentsCommunicate material specifications and requirements clearly to all stakeholdersRequired Qualifications
Technical Knowledge & Experience
Strong framing and construction knowledge / experience in a remodeling contextExperience installing doors and windows in a remodeling / replacement environmentBasic understanding of how to measure windows and doorsKnowing the difference between replacement style and new construction style windows and when to use themUnderstanding of building codes related to windows, doors, and exterior materialsAbility to visualize spatial relationships and construction modificationsFamiliarity with various window, door, siding, and trim productsSkills & Competencies
