About the role :

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Software Quality Engineer to join our team.

The Software Quality Engineer will be a key contributor to ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of our software products within the highly regulated nuclear energy industry. This role will involve implementing and executing comprehensive quality assurance strategies throughout the entire software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development, engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and adherence to nuclear industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities :

Quality Assurance Strategy & Planning :

• Develop and implement robust test cases for complex, safety-critical software applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure testability of features from inception.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate software quality risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Estimated Starting Salary Range :

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $98,000 - $143,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
