job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift. Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License. Possess a valid Corrections Officer License. Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a patrol armed officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while carrying out armed duties. You will play a key role in creating a secure environment for clients and visitors, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
