Responsibilities Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting Night shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week Patient assignments typical for an ICU environment Level 1 Trauma experience necessary Uses Epic EMR; Epic charting experience required RNs are responsible for all aspects of patient care within the scope of the ICU, including assessment and individualized care planning Expectation to modify care plans based on ongoing evaluation and patient needs Supports safe work practices and communicates collaboratively with the healthcare team Returning travelers may not be on assignment for more than one year and must take a six-month break after a year assignment before returning Requested days off may not exceed seven days per 13-week contract No travel partners accepted for this assignment Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing; temporary license accepted Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience required Advanced education : ASN required; BSN preferred Certifications required : BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association Level 1 Trauma experience and Epic charting experience required No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621247.
