SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS SUMMARY
Work Schedule : District employees can apply for the Flexible / Hybrid Work Program, working a hybrid schedule of remote work and in-person each week. Approval and number of in-person days may vary by position / department. Questions regarding the work schedule may be discussed with Hiring Manager if selected as an interview candidate.
Initial salary placement will be determined by the Office of Human Resources in accordance with Board Policy and is not negotiable. The candidate selected for employment may need to submit official transcripts, as applicable, prior to the first duty day, and will be required to provide identification and employment eligibility as outlined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act. NOCCCD will not sponsor any visa applications.
The District may choose to fill one or more positions from this recruitment within eight (8) months.

PRIMARY PURPOSE Under the direction of a college president, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the operations and activities of the college educational programs and services. The Vice President of Instruction serves as the college Chief Instructional Officer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration. All degrees and course work used to satisfy the required minimum qualifications must be from accredited post-secondary institutions. If selected as a finalist and / or given an offer of employment for this position, you will be required to provide a transcript (may be unofficial). Human Resources will contact the finalist to obtain this required documentation at that phase of the recruitment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and at least one year of formal training, internship or leadership experience reasonably related to the assignment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of an earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution.
At least three years of teaching or other academic experience as a faculty member.
At least three years of administrative experience, preferably at a community college.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary and emerging educational technology, including artificial intelligence in an academic institution.
Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of effective and collegial participatory governance and collective bargaining agreements.
Experience successfully working in collaboration with faculty in coordinating and maintaining currency of curriculum that responds to the needs of historically underrepresented students.
Prior experience in approaching work and interactions with colleagues and / or students in an equity minded manner. Ability to provide an inclusive and welcoming work / educational environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment; subject to constant interruptions and frequent interaction with others; sitting for long periods at a time (up to 2-3 hours); may require off-site duties and activities.
SALARY RANGE
Salary Range $190,126 - $239,986 Annually
