Fire Recruit Position

The City of New Orleans is offering a Fire Recruit position. This role involves training in emergency response, fire suppression, and public safety. Upon successful completion of training, recruits will be promoted to Firefighter I with an annual salary of $43,517 plus millage pay.

The job requires candidates to be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and meet physical and psychological fitness standards. Felony arrests or numerous misdemeanors may disqualify applicants. Valid picture identification and a driver's license are mandatory.
