Licensed Practical Nurse - UICC Sioux City 75-100%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 75-100% (30-40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Sioux City Clinic.

For nearly 50 years, the health and wellness of our patients has been our primary focus. We see patients for pregnancy care, baby wellness, vaccinations, school and athletic physicals, acute care visits, annual physicals, regular check-ups, mental health, on-site laboratory services and more. Duties to include :

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver's license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Percent of Time : 75-100% (30-40 hours per week)

Schedule : Monday - Friday; Variable hours accomplished between 7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM, no weekends, no holidays and no on-call time.

Location : Sioux City Clinic in Sioux City, IA (or surrounding clinics based on clinical need or hours)

Pay Grade : 11

Salary : $43,848.32 to $65,332.32 (at 100% time) / Hourly rate : $20.92 - $31.17 (based on years of experience)
