Join the Lathes team serving our Small and Large Bearing Departments and help us deliver right-first-time parts on 1st or 3rd shift. You’ll report to the Lead Machinist and play a key role in safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
What you will own
- Set up and run CNC multitasking, vertical, and horizontal lathes; support manual lathe, drill press, and secondary operations
- Hold tight tolerances to ±0.0005 in. across diverse materials (stainless / duplex, Monel, Hastelloy, nickel alloys, cast iron, carbon steel, bronze)
- Execute work orders, routings, drawings, and layout sheets to meet delivery goals
- Read, interpret, and edit M- and G-code; stage the next job while the machine is cutting
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with hand gauges and CMMs; escalate any nonconformance immediately
- Collaborate with teammates to solve problems; contribute to Kaizen, SMED, and lean initiatives
- Follow preventive maintenance routines; report equipment issues promptly
- Train others as requested; perform additional duties as needed

Office and manufacturing floor within Miba, with occasional customer sites / meeting venues. Noise on the factory floor is typically loud; approved PPE is required.
