Programs Coordinator
Fort Wayne Housing Authority – Fort Wayne, IN
Do you have a passion for helping others achieve their goals? The Fort Wayne Housing Authority is looking for a Programs Coordinator to support residents and participants in programs like FSS, FSEP, ROSS, HEAL, and MTW. In this role, you’ll make a direct impact by connecting individuals and families to the resources they need to become economically independent and self-sufficient.
What You’ll Do :
Provide one-on-one case management and develop self-sufficiency plans.
Connect residents with education, employment, health, financial, and supportive services.
Build strong relationships with community organizations, service providers, and employers.
Track progress, manage program data, and ensure compliance with HUD and FWHA guidelines.
Plan and lead workshops, orientations, and enrichment activities.
What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills (MS Office; YARDI a plus).
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Family Self-Sufficiency Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year).
