Whitten Law Office, LLC is a growing medium-sized law firm, which focuses its practice on, and service clients in, the transportation and logistics industry in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Our Indianapolis office has an opening for a remote Paralegal with 5 - 10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our excellent team of paralegals. We will offer the successful candidate a competitive wage, with additional wages for health insurance procurement, disability insurance, 401K, and paid time off benefits.

The successful candidate for this position will have experience in :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense litigation
• Experience with daily preparation of authorizations to release records and preparing and serving subpoenas
• Ability to work with high volume & multi-task
• Microsoft 365 Business including Outlook and Word (and SharePoint is a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Detail-oriented
• Proficiency in using legal billing software such as TimeSolv
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
