Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Nurse position is available for the upcoming 25-26 school year at a K-12 middle school located in Des Plaines, IL. This contract role requires a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN). The school nurse will support the health and well-being of students across grades K-12, primarily within the middle school environment.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing comprehensive nursing services, including managing student health plans and administering medications
• Assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health care plans
• Promoting health education and disease prevention within the school community
• Maintaining accurate health records in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Responding promptly to health emergencies and coordinating care as needed
