AUTEC Car Wash Systems is seeking an R&D Lead – Electrical Engineering to spearhead innovation in automated car wash technology. This role combines hands-on expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, and electrical design with leadership in product development . You'll guide projects from concept to field trials, mentor engineers, and introduce next-generation technologies that drive performance, safety, and customer value.

What You'll Do

  • Lead design, development, and testing of new electrical / control systems
  • Manage and prioritize multiple R&D projects from prototype through implementation
  • Program and validate PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and automation components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch innovative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, UL 508A, OSHA, and NFPA standards

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ in leadership or project lead role
  • Advanced proficiency in PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE), ladder logic, HMI development
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or SOLIDWORKS Electrical
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
