Production Supervisor

Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers. The Production Supervisor will lead a diverse team to achieve production objectives. The role is responsible for developing and executing standard work in a Lean manufacturing environment and leading Continuous Improvement efforts through identification and execution of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Leadership and development of 20+ experienced front-line manufacturing employees, including hiring and developing talent.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve metrics.
• Coach employees on Daily Management processes and identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety in the workplace, ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery deadlines, optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency, and address bottlenecks and production delays proactively.
• Manage budgets, control production costs, identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor.
