Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a motivated accounting team working under a Controller who is a licensed CPA.

Key Responsibilities :

In this role, you'll be a key player in the accounting department, managing a broad range of responsibilities that include :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of commercial properties. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• General Ledger Management : Maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and handle all journal entries for various real estate entities.
• Lease Accounting : Oversee and manage complex lease agreements, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 842.
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide support for financial forecasting and analysis.
• Audit Support : Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ad Hoc Projects : Take on special projects as needed, which may include due diligence for new acquisitions or system implementation.

Salary : $80,000-$110,000
