Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional presence throughout the site. Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Follow all site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
